Mangoes and tea exported from India were detected with excessive pesticide residues

According to the EU Rapid alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF), on June 21, 2024, Germany and the Netherlands notified through RASFF that India's exports of mango and tea were unsatisfactory. The details of the notifications are given below:

According to the notification, the unqualified tea was sold to Germany. Foodmate reminds export enterprises, in strict accordance with the requirements of the EU member states to export products, check the pesticide residues in the product, to ensure the safety of the product, to avoid the risk of export.
