According to the U.S. Federal Register, on June 26, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued Regulation 2024-14001 revising the residue limits for Spiromesifen in citrus and citrus oils.

EPA conducted a risk assessment on toxicity, dietary exposure, and effects on infants and young children and ultimately concluded that the following residue limits are safe. The proposed revisions are listed below:

It is understood that this regulation is effective June 26, 2024, and that objections or requests for hearings need to be filed by August 26, 2024.
