A food purchased by Wu was labelled with a production date of February 9, 2018. After investigation, the production license of the food involved was valid until December 16, 2015. After receiving the order from Wu, the manufacturer changed the production date to February 9, 2018 and delivered the goods directly.
The court supported Wu’s claim for a refund of the purchase payment and the ten times’ compensation of RMB 360,000.
