On March 18, 2020, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued an announcement ([2020] No.10) on matters related to strengthening the quality and safety management of refrigerated and frozen foods, which will be implemented from the date of promulgation.
The main strategies include: timely filing storage business, entrusting party shall fulfil its monitoring obligations, trustee shall be responsible for the quality and safety management during storage and transportation, reporting problems in a timely manner, and increasing the crackdown on violations of laws and regulations.
