US Revises Regulations on Meat Exports to China

On August 25, 2020, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the United States Department of Agriculture issued Announcement CH-206 to amend the requirements for China's export of meat and meat products.

US production companies that export to China must obtain FSIS approval before slaughtering and processing poultry meat and poultry products, and publish it on the GACC website. After the manufacturer is published on the GACC website, it will be added to the current list of qualified factories exported to China by the Food Safety Inspection Bureau. This list can be inquired through FSIS (202)720-0082 or (855)444-9904. The list of US registered companies can be found on the official website of the General Administration of Customs of China.
