China's food violations of Australia's imported food control law in 2020

 
According to the information that imported food violates the Australian imported Food Control Law monthly issued by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment, Foodmate has incomplete statistics. In 2020, there are 79 batches of unqualified food exported from China to Australia.

Statistics show that the reasons for China's unqualified food exports to Australia in 2020 include pesticide and veterinary drug residues, microbial contamination, illegal added substances, excessive iodine, aflatoxin and others. The statistics are shown in the figure below:

The illegally added substances include vitamins and pigments. Other reasons include heavy metal (lead) pollution (4 cases), inorganic arsenic (1 case), and histamine (1 case).
