Russia releases new standards for the determination of veterinary drug residues in dairy products
On May 20, 2021, the Russian Federal Bureau of Technical Regulations and Metrology issued GOSTR59507-2021 Announcement, a new standard for the determination of the residues of antibiotics and medicinal substances in milk and dairy raw materials through immunological methods. The main contents are as follows:
(1) This standard is applicable to the immunofluorescence method of raw milk and dairy product raw materials, using immunochemical bioanalyzer to determine the content of residual antibiotics and medicinal substances;
(2) Use competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to determine the presence of antibiotic residues within the measurement range of the competitive antibiotic mass concentration range of 2.0-100.0 μg/dm3;
(3) Immunochromatographic method used to determine whether there are antibiotics and medicinal substance residues.
The standard will take effect on August 1, 2021.
