China is the main buyer of Russian agro-industrial products in 2021
According to Sputniknews, a survey conducted by the Russian Federation Center for Export Development of Agro-industrial Products showed that China was the main buyer of Russian agro-industrial products in the first half of 2021.
As of June 20, China imported 1.785 billion U.S. dollars of Russian agro-industrial products. Compared with the same period in 2020, the supply has dropped by 3%. The largest supplies are oil products (US$570 million), fish (US$409 million), meat and dairy products (US$160 million) and grain (US$74 million).
The top five buyers of Russian agro-industrial products also include Turkey, the European Union, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
As of June 20, the total export volume of Russian agro-industrial products was US$13.540 billion, an increase of 13% over the same period in 2020. The oil industry (39%), meat and dairy products (26%) and grain (11%) have the fastest growth in product supply.
