On June 30, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Pakistani company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in a sample of a batch of frozen Silver croaker from Pakistan. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Pakistani seafood manufacturer M/s. Ocean Gold Seafood (Registered number: T-435/04) import declaration for 4 weeks from June 30. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
