Eurasian Economic Union intends to uniformly use electronic veterinary certificates
The official website of the Eurasian Economic Union reported that the Council of the Eurasian Economic Union issued a resolution to amend the "Regulations on the Uniform Procedures for Veterinary Control (Supervision) of Union Customs Borders" to allow the official authorities of member states to use electronic veterinary certificates..
At present, when goods under veterinary control are exported to the Eurasian Economic Union or circulated among member states, certificates are issued in paper form.
The official website claims that the use of electronic veterinary certificates can effectively avoid certificate fraud and increase the effectiveness of veterinary control.
The resolution will take effect 180 days from the date of publication on the official website of the Eurasian Economic Union.
