On January 19, 2022, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) issued Circular No. 3701 to provide the public the "Pesticide and Veterinary Drug Residues Information" website (https://www.foodsafetykorea.go.kr/residue). The main contents of this website include:

(1) Real-time information on the preparation and revision of pesticide and veterinary drug residue licensing standards;

(2) Real-time disclosure of the current status of standard products;

(3) The latest information on verification by recognized institutions at home and abroad, etc.

Previously, if changes were made to the residue licensing standards for pesticides and veterinary drugs, it was difficult to manually enter the changed information and confirm it in real time. However, in the future, it will be possible to automatically enter the residual permit criteria into the system, and to quickly and accurately confirm the changed information.
