EU revises specification of novel food trans resveratrol

On 25 April 2022, the European Union published Regulation (EU) 2022/672 on the specification of trans-resveratrol (microbial origin) as a novel food. This regulation will enter into force 20 days from the date of publication.

Synthesis: Trans resveratrol is a white to beige crystal.

Purity:

Trans resveratrol:≥98%-99%

Total by-products (related substances) :≤0.5%

Lead: ≤1.0ppm
