The Indonesian Minister of Trade has issued new regulations (No.30/2022) on the export of palm oil and edible oils on 23 May 2022. The regulation sets out the conditions under which palm oil exports are allowed and crude palm oil exporters must meet domestic demand (domestic market obligation /DMO) and domestic selling price (domestic price obligation /DPO).
The regulation (No.22/2022) issued by the Minister of Trade banning the export of crude/refined palm oil and edible oils has expired.
