ua-pcr-tests-2-780x439
According to the Ukrainian State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Agency, 22 June 2022, recently the situation of the border phytosanitary safety inspectors detaining the subject of import control has increased significantly due to the invalid phytosanitary certificate attached to the subject of import control, mainly because the phytosanitary certificate expires before shipment.  Ukraine draws the attention of commercial entities importing goods that phytosanitary certificates are not valid if they contain or reflect:

Incomplete or incorrect information;
Inaccurate or confusing information;
Contradictory or inconsistent information;
Wording or information inconsistent with the phytosanitary Certificate template;
Information added by unauthorized persons;
Unauthorized (unstamped, undated or unsigned) corrections or deletions;
Expired phytosanitary certificate, except for certified copies for re-export purposes;
Unreadable information (e.g. illegible, damaged);
Unverified copy;
Unauthorized electronic Phytosanitary Certificate;
Plant quarantine certificate of plants, plant products and other controlled objects prohibited from importation.

Compliance with Ukraine's entry phytosanitary requirements, including the provision of documents such as phytosanitary certificates, will avoid possible problems in the control of documents at the customs of destination and significantly speed up the phytosanitary process.
