South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) released the initial precision inspection program for imported food in the second half of 2022.
The main contents include: key inspection items in processed food, key inspection items in health functional food, key inspection items in food additives, key inspection items in appliance packaging containers, pesticide residues in agricultural and forestry products, other inspection items.
The inspection items mainly include the total number of bacteria, coliforms, salmonella, staphylococcus aureus and other microbial items, lead, arsenic, mercury, benzopyrene, other pollutants and food additives.
