Singapore recalled goat cheese contaminated with metal foreign matter

On September 14, 2022, the Singapore Food Agency(SFA) issued a recall notice for a goat cheese imported from France because the product was contaminated with a metal foreign matter.

 

The recalled product, Président Sainte Maure Cheese, weighs 200g and has a shelf-life of 01/11/22 [227DD0539], 05/11/22 [234AC0565] and 15/11/22 [241DD0540]. The Singapore Food Agency has instructed the importer, Lactalis Singapore Pte. Ltd, to recall the affected batches. The recall is still underway.

The Singapore Food Agency has advised consumers who have purchased the products not to eat them. People who have consumed the products in question and have concerns about their health should seek medical advice, and consumers can contact their point of purchase for enquiries.
