On March 4, 2024, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan (MHLW) issued Announcement 0304 No. 1 to revise the specification standard for food and food additives. The main content is to revise and formulate the maximum residue limits of 9 kinds of agricultural and veterinary drugs such as iprodione in some foods, some of which are detailed in the following table. The announcement will be implemented from the date of publication, and the change in the limits of six compounds such as iprodione will take effect one year after the date of publication.
