(2) Proposed Guidelines for the Use of Technology to Provide Food Information in Food Labeling, which applies to the use of technology by consumers to access food information through references on prepackaged food labels, and when consumers are unable to access food labeling information due to conditions of sale or exemptions on the labels, consideration should be given to the use of technology to provide consumers with a means of accessing that information, with principles for the provision of relevant information, with a comment period ending on October 2, 2024.
