On September 13, 2024, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued Notice 307-24, Application A1300, for comments on the use of vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) as an allowable form of vitamin K in foods for special medical purposes (FSMP).

The closing date for comments is October 11, 2024 at 6 p.m. (Canberra time).
