On October 1, 2024, the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) published the Report of the 27th Session on import and Export Food Inspection and Certification Systems. The main contents of the Report include:

 

  -Guidelines and Principles for Remote Auditing and Inspection in the framework of Relevant Legislation;

 

  -Matters relating to the work of the Codex Alimentarius Commission and its subsidiary bodies;

 

  -Information on the relevant work of the FAO, WHO and other international organizations and measures; Codex Guidelines on Food System Equivalence (Draft);

 

  - Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Food Fraud;

 

  - Principles for Product Traceability/Product Tracking in Food Inspection and Certification Systems (Draft Revised); Guidelines on Mechanisms for Rejecting Food import Applications;

 

  - Standards for Hygiene Requirements;

 

  - Global Food Emergencies Checklist;

 

  - Guidelines and principles for information exchange between importing and exporting countries to support food trade;

 

  - Principles for digitizing food control systems at the national level, etc.
