Nov. 4 -- Russia's Agriculture Ministry has issued a circular to raise wheat export tariffs (in ruble terms) by about 11 percent, barley tariffs by 58 percent and corn export tariffs by 13 percent for the coming week.
For the period November 6 to November 12, 2024, Russia's benchmark price for wheat and blended wheat is $222.5 per tonne, with an export tariff of 2,517.0 rubles per tonne. By comparison, the benchmark price for Russian wheat and mixed wheat for the period October 30 to November 5 was $220.0 per ton with an export tariff of 2,272.9 rubles per ton.
The benchmark price for corn was set at $218.9 per ton with an export tariff of 3,059.9 rubles per ton; the previous week's benchmark price was $214.7 with an export tariff of 2,702.1 rubles per ton.
The benchmark price for barley was set at $192.5 per ton with an export tariff of 1,662.2 rubles per ton; the previous week's benchmark price was $186.6 with an export tariff of 802.4 rubles per ton.
