November 4, 2024 - Thailand's processed chicken exports rose 0.8% year-on-year in September, totaling $250.5 million, according to Agribusiness Asia. This was the seventh consecutive month of growth, according to the Ministry of Commerce. Between January and September, exports in this category rose 6.5 percent year-on-year to $2.185 billion. Key export markets included the United Kingdom, Singapore, Ireland, the Philippines and France. In contrast, fresh, chilled and frozen chicken exports fell 3% year-on-year in September. For the same month, total fresh, chilled, frozen and processed chicken exports declined 0.4 percent year-over-year to $364.8 million, but increased 4 percent year-over-year to $3.185 billion in January-September.
