Russian wine exports to China in first 10 months of 2024 accounted for 48 percent of total exports

SPUTNIK - Russian wine exports to China accounted for 48 percent of the total volume of exports between January and October 2024, Russian media reported, citing data from the Russian Federal Customs Service.

 

In the first 10 months of 2024, China ranked first among Russian wine importers, the source noted. In second place is Turkey with 14% of exports, and in third place is Abkhazia with 13%.

 

Latvia (11%) and Israel (3%) were also among the top five Russian wine importers.

 

According to data from the Russian Federal Customs Service, exports of Russian wine in January-October 2024 increased by 20% compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to 168,000 tons.
