On 28 November 2024, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued a recall notice that KOREA ConNECTIONS PTY LTD is recalling a kimchi because the product contains an undeclared allergen (fish). Information on the recalled product is below:

The name of the recalled product is understood to be Mustard Leaves Kimchi with a shelf life until 18 December 2024 and 28 January 2025. The product has been sold at Dae Bak Mart, Kaesung Mart, Home Mart, Hanuri Butcher and Grocery and Seoul Mart Southlands in Western Australia.

FSANZ advises consumers with fish allergies not to consume the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
