FSANZ extends deadline for approval of cell culture-based quail meat as novel food for consultation

On December 12, 2024, the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) issued Notice 321-24, Application No. A1269, which extends the deadline for approval of cell culture-based quail meat as a novel food for consultation.

  

It is understood that the application was submitted by Vow Group Pty Ltd. The consultation was originally scheduled to run until December 24, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. and has been extended to January 12, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (Canberra time).
