Canada established iron limit in drinking water

On December 28, 2024, Health Canada published through the Government Gazette the final version of the Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines - Iron, which establishes a revised limit for total iron in drinking water (AO) from ≤0.3 mg/L to ≤0.1 mg/L (100 μg/L).
