Moscow, September 30 (Sputnik) -- Russia's Federal Center for the Development of Export of Agricultural Products has compiled 16 sets of guidance manuals for enterprises exporting agricultural products to China, head of the center Dmitry Krasnov told Sputnik.
He noted that the manuals contain information on details of China's economy and business activities, procedures for export transactions, information on potential partners and competitors, and mandatory requirements for export products.
The guidelines cover poultry, pork, beef, meat products, chocolate, flour, confectionery, wheat flour, mineral water, peas, flax, frozen crab, sugar and beet pulp, macaroni products and other categories, according to the information.
"The manual will also explain the preferences of Chinese consumers," says Mr Krasnov. For example, the Chinese consider chicken feet to be a delicacy in the whole body of the chicken, and they are especially popular. The guidance will detail the market capacity of the product, in what form it should be shipped and so on."
Russia ranks 12th in the list of countries supplying agricultural products to China, according to the results in 2021, according to data from the Russian Agricultural Export Development Center.
