South Korea revised regulations on quarantine treatment of imported and exported plants and products of plant origin

On November 23, 2022, the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency (APQA) of South Korea issued Notice No. 2022-46, revising the regulations on quarantine treatment of imported and exported plants and plant-derived products. Part of the revision is to add quarantine treatment requirements for export matsutake, that is, use acetyl polypropyl amine and phospholipid combined fumigation treatment.

The announcement shall take effect as of the date of promulgation.
