On February 21, 2023, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) issued an announcement saying that according to China's relevant laws and regulations and the quarantine and sanitation requirements on imported Cambodia's Edible Aquatic Animal of GACC and the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), allowed the import of edible aquatic animals in Cambodia that meets the relevant requirements.
