US intends to cancel the use of erythrosine as a coloring agent in food and medicine

According to the U.S. Federal Register, on February 17, 2023, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued document No. 2023-03391, intending to cancel the use of erythrosine as a coloring agent in food (including dietary supplements) and pharmaceuticals.

 

It is understood that all comments must be submitted before April 18, 2023.
