China has once again become the largest export market for agricultural, forestry and aquatic products of Vietnam

It is estimated that in the first two months of 2023, the total import and export volume of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and aquatic products will reach US$11.99 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 16.8%. Among them, the export value reached about 6.28 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 22.5%; the import value reached about 5.72 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%.

 

For the export market, in the first two months of 2023, the Asian market occupies the largest market share of 47.4%, and other markets are the Americas (21.1%), Europe (13.4%), Oceania (1.4%) and Africa (1.3%), etc.

 

It is worth noting that in the first two months of this year, China has once again become the largest export market for Vietnam's agricultural, forestry and aquatic products. China's imports of agricultural, forestry and aquatic products from Vietnam amounted to US$1.27 billion, accounting for 20.2% of Vietnam's total agricultural exports. The United States ranked second, with a total export value of 1.19 billion US dollars, accounting for 19% of the market share, followed by Japan (563 million US dollars, accounting for 9%), South Korea (302 million US dollars, accounting for 4.8%) and so on.
