EAEU revised the technical regulation Safety of Poultry Meat and Its Products

The official website of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) released information on the regulations on March 1: the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued resolution N.23 to amend the technical regulations on the“Safety of Poultry Meat and Its Products”. The revised contents are as follows:


1) Formulate the content requirements for nitrate in poultry sausage products for infants and young children under 3 years old: ≤30mg/kg;


2) Revise the limit value requirements of nitrosazolamide (the sum of nitrosodimethylamine and nitrosodiethylamine) in canned poultry meat, semi-finished products, pasteurized sausage and other products: from ≤0.002mg/kg to not detectable (<0.001mg/kg).
