Bosnia and Herzegovina will introduce regulations to guarantee its wine exports to the EU

Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, reported on January 2: Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Kosalac said on the same day that Bosnia and Herzegovina will introduce nine regulations on the basis of the "Wine Market Organization Law" in 2024, so that Bosnian winemakers can export wine to the EU market without hindrance.

 

Kosarac noted that there are 82 wine producers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 3,600 hectares of viticultural area, producing about 18 million liters of wine per year. Wine production is becoming recognized as one of the important industries in Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
