Italy recalled a batch of Master Kong brand instant noodles

On the 22nd, the Italian Ministry of Health issued a notice recalling a batch of Master Kong brand instant noodles.

Italian Ministry of Health announced a recall notice issued on 10th April that a batch of Master Kong instant noodles imported from China were recalled because the product description did not indicate the possible existence of shellfish food allergens.

The specific information is as follows:

-Fresh Shrimp Fish Plate Noodles, Master Kong Brand, 98g pack, shelf life until 7 June 2024, production lots 231208 and 120242 respectively.

As with the usual food recall notices, this time the Italian Ministry of Health is reminding consumers who purchased the above batches to avoid consuming them and to return the products to the point of sale.

It is worth noting that the Italian Ministry of Health had recalled a batch of Master Kong brand instant noodles in early April because the product's Italian-language instructions did not state the egg allergen.

In late February, a batch of seafood-flavoured cup noodles produced by Nissin Foods (Hong Kong) Limited was also recalled, again because of the detection of an undeclared lactose ingredient allergen.
