Alta.ru, May 6: According to the Decree No. 563 of the Government of the Russian Federation, from May 6, 2024 to August 31, 2024, the Russian Federation will temporarily ban the export of cane sugar, beet sugar, or solid pure cane sugar (EAEU HS CODE: 1701).

The Decree establishes the requirements for export quotas and the allocation of export quotas for the above products from Russia, specifying that the Ministry of Agriculture is responsible for the allocation of quotas.

The ban does not apply to the export of sugar in quota quantities to the Eurasian Economic Union member States, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
