EU imposed protective tariffs on grains from Russia and Belarus

BRUSSELS, May 30 - The Council of the European Union approved a resolution on the imposition of protective tariffs on cereals imported from Russia and Belarus, which will come into force on July 1, European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis said.

 

Dombrovskis wrote on social media X that “ministers agreed to raise tariffs on imports of cereals from Russia and Belarus.”
