FSANZ approves 2-Fucosyllactose produced by genetically modified Corynebacterium glutamicum for use in infant formulas

According to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), on June 19, 2024, FSANZ issued Notice 294-24, which approves application A1283 to allow the use of 2′-fucose-based lactose produced by the genetically modified Corynebacterium glutamicum for infant formula.
