On July 10, 2024, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea issued Circular 2024-89, which strengthens import inspection instructions for summer seafood. The details are as follows:

(1) Products to be inspected: largemouth bass, red sea bass, and red snapper;

(2) Items tested: ofloxacin, nitrofuran metabolites, trichlorfon, enno/ciprofloxacin, methylene blue, dehydrocholic acid, isobutylphenol, ethoxyquin, malachite green;

(3) Inspection Period: 2024. 7. 17. ~ 9. 16 (2 months from the date of shipment).
