South Korea allows the import of New Zealand dairy products

On July 15, Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea issued Announcement No. 2024-338, which intends to amend part of the "Countries (Regions) Allowed to import Livestock Products or Animal Foods and import Sanitary Conditions," the main contents of which are as follows:

 

importation of New Zealand-produced cow's milk, processed milk, fermented milk, and concentrated milk is permitted.

 

Period for public comments collection will last to August 5, 2024.
