ANZ proposed to approve endo-1,4-β-xylanase from genetically modified Bacillus licheniformis as a processing aid

According to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), on July 30, 2024, FSANZ issued Notice 297-24, with application No. A1304 for the use of Endo-1, 4-β-xylanase from genetically modified Bacillus licheniformis as a processing aid.

 

The Endo-1, 4-β-xylanase is used in the production of distilled alcohol, starch and gluten parts.
