Case Study | Penalty for selling im<em></em>ported prepackaged food without labeled registered address

The imported pre-packaged food sold by a company was found to be not labelling the registered address on the outer package.

The Minhang District, Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation issued ‘Administrative Punishment Decision’ to the company, ordering the company to correct the mistake within 30 days. However, the company did not correct. Therefore, a fine of RMB 1,000 was imposed to the company.
