According to the result of risk analysis, on February 14, 2020, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued an announcement starting from the issue date of this announcement, China would lift restrictions on the import of poultry and related products from the United States (Announcement [2020] No.25). According to the result of risk analysis, on February 19, 2020, the General Administration of Customs and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued an announcement starting from the issue date of this announcement, China would lift restrictions on the import of beef and related products (above 30 month-old) from the United States (Announcement [2020] No.34). Related restrictions imposed by former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the former Ministry of Agriculture in 2001 was removed simultaneously.
