Ekoniva, a large Russian dairy company, said on June 6 that it signed a supply contract with China for dairy products with a long shelf life two weeks ago. The products are expected to be delivered within one month by ocean shipping to Dalian port.
Ekoniva has made various preparations for the export of products: participating in industry exhibitions, negotiating with China's product distributors and deeply studying the potential market of dairy products export.
Russian dairy products can be exported to China by railway (with high cost but fast) and sea transportation. Its main competitors - New Zealand and European dairy producers can only use sea transportation.
At present, the products of the Anninsky factory of ekoniva, which located in Voronezh region, have been approved for export to China.
