nsumers Act (2010). The object of this Act is to enhance the welfare of Australians through the promotion of competition and fair trading and provision for co
nsumer protection. The act mainly specifies six aspects such as market access, restriction to competition (monopoly), improper trading, internatio
nal freight, product liability, and co
nsumers protection and started to be implemented on 6 June.
