The law is formulated in order to prevent the introduction of infectious diseases from abroad or spread from China, prevent and control the cross-border spread of public health hazards, protect public life and health, and build a human health and health community.
Frontier health quarantine objects such as entry and exit personnel, vehicles, containers, cargoes, goods, corpses, and special items shall be subject to frontier health quarantine in accordance with the law. only with the permission of the customs can enter or leave the country.
The Law involves the supervision of the hygienic conditions of food production, processing, storage, the hygienic conditions of transportation and supply chain and the hygienic conditions of drinking water supply. Sampling and testing of food and drinking water when necessary; Whoever, without permission, engages in food production or marketing, drinking water supply or business in public places shall be ordered by the Customs to stop his illegal business activities and his illegal income shall be confiscated. If the illegal turnover is less than 10,000 yuan, a fine of 50,000 yuan up to 100,000 yuan shall be imposed; If the illegal turnover is more than 10,000 yuan, the violator shall be concurrently fined not less than 10 times but not more than 20 times the illegal turnover.
