CFSA | Solicit Opinions on 9 New Varieties of Food Additives including Protease

 
On April 12, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment solicited opinions on 9 new varieties of food additives and the deadline was May 7, 2021. Among them, there are 3 new varieties of food industry enzyme preparations including protease and glutamine transaminase, 1 new varieties of food spices, African arrowroot extract, and 5 food additives applications for expanding the scope and amount of use such as Advantame. The maximum use amount of Advantame as a sweetener in carbonated beverages is 0.006 g/kg; the maximum use amount of glutamine transaminase as a stabilizing and coagulant in flavored fermented milk and uncured cheese is 0.3 g/kg; paprika as a coloring agent in the prefabricated meat products are used in appropriate amounts according to production needs.

        4月12日,国家食品安全风险评估中心公开征求蛋白酶等9种食品添加剂新品种意见,截止日期为2021年5月7日。包括蛋白酶、谷氨酰胺酶等3种食品工业用酶制剂新品种、食品用香料新品种非洲竹芋提取物以及爱德万甜等5种食品添加剂扩大使用范围和使用量的申请,其中爱德万甜作为甜味剂在碳酸饮料最大使用量为0.006克/千克;谷氨酰胺转氨酶作为稳定和凝固剂在风味发酵乳和非熟化干酪中最大使用量为0.3克/千克;辣椒红作为着色剂在调理肉制品(生肉添加调理料)中按生产需要适量使用等。
