Thai Chamber of Commerce said that the relaxation of antiepidemic measures is expected to increase food exports

Comprehensive Thai media reported on September 6 that the Thai Chamber of Commerce stated that the epidemic continues to spread, and the production capacity of Thai export factories has dropped by 20-30%, and the production capacity of export commodities can still meet the demand for orders. It is necessary to continue to pay attention to the impact of the epidemic on the economy and exports.

Thai food exports will increase by an average of 3-5% in 2021, because the vaccination rate in many countries can reach 70% of the population. Especially in major markets such as the United States, China, Europe, and many countries in Asia, the relaxation of control measures, lead to the economy recovery.

The export growth rate of fresh fruit, cassava, and fresh food is not high, and it is estimated that it will increase significantly by the end of this year to meet the upcoming festivals. The export of frozen chicken, meat and condiment products continues to grow.
