On September 9, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Russian processing vessel, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 1 sample of 1 batch of frozen pollock imported from Russia. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Russian aquatic product company Polluks JSC “Okeanrybflot” (Registered number: CH-16F) import declaration for a week from September 9. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
