Russia extends anti-sanction measures against many western countries
On September 20, the official website of the laws and regulations of the Russian Federation issued Presidential Decree N.534 "The Extension of Certain Special Economic Measures to Ensure the Security of the Russian Federation", stipulating that the anti-sanction measures against western countries and organizations will be extended to December 31, 2022.
Due to the Ukraine crisis, the United States, the European Union and other western countries and organizations have adopted multiple rounds of sanctions against Russia. As a counterattack, in August 2014, the Russian President signed a presidential decree to implement anti-sanction measures against it.
