The official website of the Russian Federation Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) on October 21: Decree No. 248 issued by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) will be implemented on January 1, 2022, and China will implement a registration system for overseas beekeeping companies.

Since Russia has previously exported bee products to China, China will adopt a simplified system for the registration requirements of Russian beekeeping companies before October 31, 2021.

Rosselkhoznadzor pointed out that after January 1, 2017, companies that export bee products to China should provide relevant information required by China to their Veterinary Plant Branches in a timely manner so that they can be submitted to GACC. If the relevant parties fail to provide the above information in time before October 31, from November 1, 2021, such enterprises will have to provide all documents for re-registration in accordance with the relevant provisions of Article 8 of the Regulations.
